2022 Episode 37 – Do you have a document management problem or an asset data management problem? If your organization is not able to accurately trace the business case for capital investments backwards to its original purpose, funding, and design you may have an asset data management challenge. The age of an asset does make it harder to keep track of all the records, but it’s not an excuse for not maintaining traceable, verifiable, and complete asset data. Solving for a document management problem will not fix your asset data management challenge.

In this episode, Maura Dunn and Lee Karas describe the difference between a document management problem or a more serious asset data management problem. (Episode length 00:21:28)
